Producers Livestock Credit Corporation (PLCC) is an affiliated financial services cooperative and is a key element of Producers family of services. For nearly 75 years, PLCC has served the financial needs of producers and feeders with loans for livestock, machinery, equipment, facilities, feed, and production loans.
PLCC specializes in short and intermediate term credit for agricultural production. It routinely works with local banks and other financial institutions to develop coordinated financial programs beneficial to our members.
PLCC offers two credit programs for pork producers. One provides operating cash for a farrower who plans to finish his own pig inventory and needs cash to pay bills. The other is designed for an ISO-wean or feeder pig buyer or investor who wants to finish pigs and has either feed on hand or a cash equity stake and needs operating cash to pay bills during the finishing of the hogs.
